The 5800 comes with a 3.2? inch WVGA (640×360) screen which is capable of displaying 16.7 million colours, a proximity sensor, handwriting recognition, support for practically and unlimited entry and fields contacts, secondary camera for video calls and an accelerometer. The 5800 has a better implementation of the scroll bars (an important feature that is easily overlooked) haptic feedback.

The HTC Diamond Specifications :

The difference of 0.4? is telling and really changes a lot of things. In terms of design the Touch Diamond comes out ahead with its angular look. The plastics also look of a higher quality compared to the 5800’s plastic. Touch Diamond possess a better hardware solution, the 5800 is not to be taken lightly simply because it looks slower on paper. It is equally fast, maybe faster than the Diamond even.

FINAL WORD : I would go for the Nokia 5800 because its outsmarts HTC Touch Diamond in many every aspect.
