Rock Band for iPhone, iPod Touch

Tap Tap Revenge games for iPhone and iPod Touch has ruled the Top 10 Apps charts for weeks. And now, Electronic Arts has rolled out its popular music-centered Rock Band game for iPhone platform. About 25 rocking tracks from bands like Jethro Tull, Smashing Pumpkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Beastie Boys now come on iPhone with finger tapping gameplay. This app is available for purchase for $10 (Rs. 480 approx.) from iTunes download link.

EA’s Rock Band is popular music-based game for consoles and was being buzzed for its iPhone platform development. EA confirmed multi-player mode on the Rock Band game for iPhone that supports up to four iPhone or iPod Touch devices over Bluetooth connection. Apple unlocked Bluetooth and also brought Peer-to-Peer style Bluetooth connection capability with the iPhone OS 3.0 software update.

Rock Band app users can jam together choosing vocals, guitar, drums or bass. Of course, there’s a solo game mode.

Here’s the list of 20 tracks that come with the game of which five tracks are unlocked after completing world tour. Additional five tracks are available for purchase from artists like Lenny Kravitz, Devo, Foo Fighters, Smashing
