Scam Websites offering Unlocking firmware 3.1 and 3.1.2 [OUTDATED]

If you are looking to unlock the iPhone 3g or 3gs be warned there are hundreds of sites on the net missleading you into thinking you can unlock your phone by using there software.

They also offer that their software works with Baseband 5.11.07 , 06.02 and Bootloader 06.04.  For your kind information note that unlocking an iPhone with Baseband 5.11.07 , 06.02 and Bootloader 06.04 is an unsolved issue as on date and this offer is totaly fake.

We have been alerted by lots of our customers to the following websites:

  • www.unlock-apple-iphone.com – claim to be able to unlock iPhone 3G and 3GS at version 2.2.1 using software – er, wrong! No support, no money back either, avoid like the plague
  • www.iphoneunlocking.org.uk, iphone.unlock.no, and www.iphoneunlocking.com (both owned by same conman) – claim to be able to unlock iPhone 3G at 3.0, well guess what you pay and there’s no software, you email and there’s no support, you call and no-one answers – obviously a total scam. How paypal can continue processing for these people is beyond me. UPDATE – Paypal has stopped processing for them. See below for some customer experiences of theirs! Fortunately they use swreg for payment processing, and its easy to get money back if you know how, just see one of the comments below fore details.
  • www.unlock-the-iphone.com – claim to have sold ‘millions’ of unlocking solutions, er yeah right! You get a fake download link, no support (obviously) and they also claim to be able to unlock 2.2.1 using software just to entice you to pay. Paypal stopped processing for them due to their completely false advertising and obtaining money through deception, but they are using a different processor now. Please don’t fall for their lies.
  • www.appleuk.net (selling ‘unlocked 3G iPhones’ for £200 – you won’t see your money, or an iPhone, again!)
  • Unlock-Iphone-Scams.Blogspot.com – this purports to be a ‘blog’ from a gentleman who tried a few websites which ‘bricked’ his iPhone until he found easyiphoneunlocking.com – don’t fall for it, the only scam here here is the site unlock-iphone-scams.blogspot.com itself. The websites (easyiphoneunlocking.com included) are owned by the same person, and not only that, it is impossible to brick an iphone by unlocking it – the software either works (as ours does) or is vapourware and doesnt even run and does nothing. If they dont know how to unlock an iPhone they certainly won’t know how to brick one.
  • www.iPhoneUnchained.com – claims to be able to unlock 2.2.1 with software, again a total scam. No support, no nothing
  • www.AppleUnlockiPhone.com,
  • www.newiphoneunlock.com – claims to be able to unlock 3G at 2.2.1, obviously they can’t, no support once bought, SCAM
  • www.321iphoneunlocking.com

These claim to be able to offer the iPhone 3G unlock and also unlock version 2.0 iPhones – they CANNOT nor will they offer support. They merely provide you with a link to purchase some free software that doesnt work and you will simply been locked out of their phones and you will need to come back and use our software (and sim solution for 2.2.1 3G iPhones).

This post has been scrapped from a pretty dubious website. When I check the primary URL: http://www.iphoneunlockuk.com are selling the exact same product that attempt to discredit other for selling. Make of this what you will - they are all scammers!
