Geohot just confirmed that he has installed blackra1n in iPad. He has managed to successfully jail break the device, and we will soon get Cydia/Rock for iPad which will enable us to install 3rd Party applications into iPad.
blackra1n was first announced for iPhone running in 3.1.2, which was the first 30 second jailbreak, that could handle many devices and it was very easy to jail break using blackra1n.
Geohot has still not provided an ETA, so let’s just hope that he releases it soon!
