Hide iOS Apps That Don’t Support Multitasking

On 06/27/2010, in How to?, by Arjun Komath

Even though the Multi tasking idea has arrived, many apps dont still support it. Only those apps that has been optimized for iOS4 support multi tasking. But as soon we exit any application, it automatically goes to background, which is useless for us! (I found my iPhone 3G very slow and laggy with multi tasking).

What we need is some way of hiding these “monotasking” apps, so that they just don’t plain get in the way. Fortunately for jailbroken users, Cydia has a solution. Not so long ago MacStories came across Remove Recents, which is available for free in the Big Boss repository. This handy tweak prohibits non-optimized iPhone apps from jumping in the quick launch dock – and makes life a whole lot easier.

So if you’re a jailbroken iPhone 3GS or 4 user, head over to Cydia and check out Remove Recents. It’s probably going to make things a lot easier – at least until every app you need has the ability to multitask.
