Genuine white iPhone 4 handsets are reportedly selling on the Chinese grey market, according to a recent post by TUAW. As you can see from the above and below images (courtesy of Giz-China), the handsets appear to be real – unlike the “custom white” iPhone 4s which have recently been selling on eBay.
Currently, the handsets are selling for around $899. The boxes themselves are marked with a label which reads: “for internal use only,” as you can see below:
Obviously, it hasn’t yet been confirmed whether these handsets are entirely genuine. But, as you can see from the above images, they certainly appear to be – whether Apple will admit it or not.
At the box, it’s written: Designed by Apple in Caiformia.. Where the heck is that?
