Smule’s Ocarina Available For Free For 72 Hours

On 12/08/2010, in News, by Arjun Komath

For the first time in its two-year history, Smule’s classic and still very entertaining musical app, Ocarina, is available for free.  But this great deal will only last for the next 72 hours, so fire up the App Store and get downloading before it’s too late.

Ocarina turns your iPhone into an ancient flute-like wind instrument.  It responds to your breath, touch and movements, allowing you to create beautiful sounds as long as you put some time into your craft.  If you already are an advanced musician, the app offers a variety of ways to change up the sounds as well.  You can also listen to otherOcarina players from all over the world, rate performances, and share your own performances.

Ocarina is normally priced at $.99, but you can get it for free until 1:00 PM PST on Friday, December 10th.  Don’t forget to share this awesome offer with your iPhone toting friends.  It is the holiday season, after all.
