Hacker Pod2G seems to be doing a great job at updating the Jailbreaking community with his progress of the iOS 5.0/iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Userland Jailbreak. He has neared the completion of his iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak and has tested all the A4 devices. We had informed that he is going to buy an iPhone 4S from the donations to test the untethered jailbreak for A5 devices, and the latest news is that he has bought one.
Now if things go right for him, we expect him to make some progress this weekend on jailbreaking the iPhone 4S. And let’s just hope he does that soon. Because when he does, the iPad 2 untethered jailbreak will arrive shortly after. So iPad 2 users should keep their hopes high.
