The compatibility is a main issue, it doesn’t support 3G or 3GS!

The Pros :

• Its ultra fast, zero lagging. You really enjoy working on the device!
• A Great performer, and its going to be better when more and more iPad dedicated apps come to the market.
• Amazing battery life. Approximately 10 hours.
• Internet browsing on the go, was never this easy!
• Great eBook Reader, I’d say that its better than the Kindle with its great touch interface.

The cons :

• Its not a laptop. You can never replace a Laptop with an iPad.
• No webcam, which means no video chats!
• The iPad keyboard doesn’t work very well.
• Its like a smart phone with a big screen! thats all!

The bottom line, a fancy device that can get simple works done on the go! Its a great eBook reader, web browser and with many cool apps its an all rounder ! Oh! And its an iPod also!

Personally I prefer rock, and there are several reasons for that. I will just point out the same :

• Rock works offline, while cydia doesn’t work offline very well.
• Rock is way easier and user friendly.
• By opening a Rock account we can backup the apps and licences.
• Rock seems to be faster than cydia.
• We can manage rock via PC also, by downloading the PC application from ‘rock your phone’ website.
• Rocks seems to be less buggy than Cydia.
• Supports screenshots, so that we can see the app before installing just like the app store.

I had lot of questions asking, which is the the best SMS management application for the android devices. Well, the answer is, ‘chompSMS’. Personally I have been using this application for a long time and its the best. The app is very similar to the biteSMS in iPhone. Its kinda like an android version of the biteSMS.

The default sms application is difficult to use, and I rather prefer the chompSMS to the android sms app. It just makes texting a lot more easier! So far I haven’t experienced any bugs or issues with the app.

This is a highly recommended application. The chompSMS application is free. It’s available on the Android Market, and you install it directly on your phone.  :-)

Well, just like any other app, it covers everything in orkut – scraping, watching profiles, uploading photos, notifications…and more. I didn’t see much regarding communities!

One cool thing! You can add your friend as live folders to your home screen. And why? Because, by doing that you will be able to see the friends list even when you do not have access to data networks.

The opera mini beta 5, a browser for Android devices, was released a few weeks back. I was really excited because the default browser that was included in android was not up to my expectations. Anyway, I downloaded the app a few days back and wow! It was lighting fast. WebPages loaded very quickly, way faster than the default browser. The opera mini team has kept their word; the new browser is really swift. But there are a few problems that I experienced. Let’s have a quick look at the pros and cons.

Pros :

1. Very fast compared to other browser.
2. Fresh and user-friendly User Interface.
3. So, far no bugs!
4. Easy navigation and bookmark management.

Cons :

1. Poor rendering quality.
2. No Multi-touch (Pinch Zoom)
3. The text alignment is wrong and sometimes not easily readable.
4. Lack of customization in setting.
