A random guy from Istanbul, Turkey has posted a video demonstration of a ‘hardware unlock’ on the iPhone 3G with OS 3.1.3 and Baseband 05.12.01 This video demonstration is just amazing! at least to watch it. :-)
Now, I highly recommend that you don’t take this risky procedure by yourself, unless you are the adventurous type! Just wait some more days to get a software unlock for free from iPhone dev team or geohot. Enjoy!
